Black rope is tug line. Red is the rope looped through "toggle" (old plastic runner).  Loop at the end of tug is pushed up through the red toggle loop.

black tug loop on backside of toggle and getting ready to pull tight.  Black loop is just looped over the yellow plastic

what is looks like when pulled tight.  The red loop is has a piece of rope that I will remove once I see if this set up will work.

front of toggle with red rope weaved through two holes in the plastic

these two shots just show the toggle hooked to a harness.

This set up is a modifcation to what I have seen other mushers use with plastic rods.  Since I have lots of old runner plastic I thought I would try using it.
